How to control leaf eating caterpillar in vineyard?

Hello Dear Farmers,

Current climate change and increased Temperature is a growth factor for leaf-eating caterpillars and the incidence of caterpillars is increasing in a large extent. We will know about such problem in this post.

Life Cycle

Adult caterpillar moths are yellowish brown in colour and English (V) shaped with brown spots on the forewing and dark lines on the white hindwing. Initially, the caterpillar lays 400 to 500 eggs on the underside of the leaf. Eggs are yellowish in colour. Eggs hatch in 4-5 days. Larvae are greenish-brown in colour with thick gray lines or stripes. The cocoons stage is completed in the soil.
